Traveling with kids is easier when the transportation details are settled before departure. Use this checklist when arranging a family pickup from Tampa International Airport.
Request the right car seats in advance

Do not assume a seat will be available without including it in your reservation details.
Count more than suitcases
Families often travel with strollers, diaper bags, car seats, portable cribs, beach gear and snacks in addition to checked bags and carry-ons. Put every large item in the quote request so the correct vehicle can be selected for passengers and cargo.
Use flight information to simplify arrival
Include your flight number and a mobile number that can receive messages after landing. Flight tracking and direct communication make it easier to coordinate around delays, baggage claim and the walk to the pickup location.
Keep the first stop simple
After a flight, most families appreciate a direct ride to the hotel, resort or vacation rental. If you need a grocery, pharmacy or meal stop, mention it before booking so it can be included in the transportation plan.
Book the return ride, too
Once you have your flight home, schedule the airport return while the trip details are fresh. This gives your family a clear departure plan and one less task to manage at the end of vacation.
